Teaching During the course you will complete four areas of study. Each of these areas consists of learning

Who’s who?
Assessor
This is the person who will judge the performance of the candidate
against the awarding body criteria e.g. SafeCert Awards, Edexcel or City
& Guilds etc). Assessors have to be technically competent in the area
they are to assess in and have to be working towards their own assessor
qualifications.
Internal Verifier (IV)
Handouts This is the person who makes sure that the assessors are doing their job properly, for example,
that assessors are treating candidates the same and are not over or under-assessing.
