Administration
Legislation
As well as roles we also have responsibilities as trainers and
some of these have legal implications. You should be aware of
some of the following legislations before you begin and consider
their implications on your course.
As far as reasonably practicable, all delegates are fit and well
before commencing.
• Trainers and teachers have the right to exclude any delegates from training whose health
or physical status makes them unsuitable for training (in part or in full).
• Trainers, teachers and delegates are suitably and appropriately dressed. Delegates Lesson Plans
understand their responsibility for the safety and welfare of others during training.
Training takes place in a safe and suitable environment. Reasonable measures should
be taken to reduce or eliminate any identified hazards. Adequate supervision is provided,
so delegates can be closely observed throughout.
Special Educational Needs and Disability Act 2001: making it unlawful for bodies
responsible for the provision of education to discriminate against disabled learners.
Physical disabilities
A person with a disability has the right to study in the same way as any other.
