This accredited First Aid Trainer / Assessor Award is designed for professionals who want to teach and assess First Aid at Work courses in workplace environments. The comprehensive three-day programme equips you with the knowledge, skills, and resources to deliver effective first aid training across a wide range of industries.
Upon completion, you will receive a SafeCert Level 3 First Aid Trainer / Assessor Award and a complimentary PDLSG (Planning and Delivering Learning Sessions to Groups) teaching qualification, enabling you to train employees, conduct workplace assessments, and issue accredited first aid certificates with confidence.
The course is available at venues across the UK — including London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Newcastle, and Belfast — as well as fully online via live Zoom sessions, giving you the same nationally recognised qualification from anywhere in the country.

To become a First Aid Trainer, you need:
- Level 3 teaching qualification — the PDLSG award is included FREE in the Abertay course
- First Aid at Work certificate — or equivalent first aid knowledge (covered in the course)
- Minimum age 19 years
- No prior teaching experience required — we teach you how to train others
