This accredited Abrasive Wheels Trainer Award is designed for professionals who want to teach the safe use, mounting, inspection, and storage of abrasive wheels and grinding equipment in compliance with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).
Upon completion, you will receive a SafeCert Abrasive Wheels Trainer Award and a complimentary PDLSG teaching qualification, enabling you to deliver accredited abrasive wheels training and issue certificates to your delegates.
The course is available at venues across the UK and via live Zoom. In-house delivery is available for manufacturing and engineering organisations with 6 or more delegates.

Abrasive Wheels Trainer Course FAQs
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 require employers to ensure that anyone who mounts, uses, or supervises the use of abrasive wheels is adequately trained. The Abrasive Wheels Regulations 1970 (now incorporated into PUWER) specifically require that operators are trained and that training records are maintained. Failure to comply can result in HSE enforcement action, improvement notices, and prosecution.Duration
