First Aid at Work (2 day Renewal)

This First Aid Training Course is an HSE Accredited Course as Abertay Training is an HSE First Aid Training Approved Centre. We offer the refresher Health & Safety at Work First Aid Training course over 2 days either consecutive or 1 day a week for 2 weeks. All candidates for this courses must already have a valid First Aid at Work training certificate at the date of assessment as this is the renewal/refresher course (as of 1st June 2006 you now have 28 days after this date to complete this renewal by, or attendance at a full 4 day course is required). We can of course do in-house first aid training courses at your venue anywhere in the UK or N/S Ireland. All persons passing the course will receive an HSE First Aid at Work Training Certificate valid for 3 years. At the end of the course candidates will be competent in the following:

Resuscitation
Shock
Bleeding
Unconsciousness
First Aid Kits/Boxes
Transporting Casualties
Bones, Muscles & Joints

Minor Injuries
Burns & Scalds
Eye Injuries
Poisons
Record Keeping
Hygiene
Communication in First Aid Emergency and Minor Injuries
