Emergency First Aid - Appointed Persons
As an HSE Accredited Training Centre we offer the Appointed Persons / Emergency First Aid Training Course over 1 day. We can of course do in-house first aid appointed person courses at your venue anywhere in the UK or N/S Ireland. All persons passing the course will receive an HSE recognised First Aid Appointed Persons Certificate valid for 3 years. At the end of the course candidates will be competent in the following:
- Principles of First Aid at Work
- Resuscitation
- Control of Bleeding
- Unconsciousness
- Burns & Scalds
- Duties of First Aid Appointed Persons
- First Aid Kits/Box Contents
The candidate will also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Emergency Resuscitation
- External Chest Compressions
- Electrical Injuries
- Control of Bleeding
- Care of the Unconscious
- Other First Aid Dangers

We can now offer courses at short notice, as the HSE no longer require 28 days notice. We also provide Trainer Courses for the First Aid Trainer which is a 3 day course and the AED Defibrillation Trainer which is a 1 day course for person who wish to teach First Aid or AED Training in their workplace or just on a self employed basis.
